Volunteer Bunkhouse

Each year, Youth Rebuilding New Orleans hosts thousands of volunteers from near and far. YRNO has a bunkhouse that can accommodate up to 30 people, a volunteer housing unit offering communal living space. YRNO aims to provide our volunteer groups the most gratifying and welcoming experience while in town, and now housing accommodations are even simpler!

Volunteer Housing Living Area

The YRNO bunkhouse, located at 1933 Hope Street was a previously blighted home that we purchased, rebuilt and is now offered as volunteer housing. The Hope Street house offers our volunteers an affordable and convenient housing option. It features a full kitchen, three baths, entertainment space, dining area and plenty of sleeping room. Groups of 30-34 are easily accommodated, and the volunteer housing is centrally located right off of the bus line. Only a five-minute trip to the French Quarter!
