Coming from outside of New Orleans? Youth Rebuilding New Orleans is happy to host volunteer groups from across the country. We work with church groups, school trips, alternative spring breaks, corporate volunteer groups, and more to create a personalized volunteer experience for groups large and small. Whether you’re an alternative spring break group that wants to work an entire week or a family reunion that wants to spend the morning with us, we would love to host your volunteer group!
We will work with your group to provide a volunteer schedule that fits your trip, help your community service group find accommodations, and make recommendations on where you should visit or eat while your in town. Volunteers can help rebuild homes in various different stages of construction from demolition to touch up painting. It is impossible to know exactly what each group will be doing ahead of time but the list below highlights some of the most common jobs on our work-sites.
