YRNO and Rooms To Go Deliver Relief for Baton Rouge Flood Victims

In the weeks leading up to the holidays, Baton Rouge families are still working to rebuild after this summer’s historic flooding. YRNO was approached by Rooms To Go to help facilitate a donation day in Baton Rouge, and on November 12, thirty families received brand new furniture for their homes from Rooms To Go.

Donated items included couches, dinette sets, beds, and other much-needed furniture. St. Vincent de Paul recruited the families and secured space for distribution at Immaculate Conception Church in Baton Rouge, and volunteers from Rummel High School helped the families with their pick-ups.

“We have been a part of the Louisiana community since 2006,” said Jeffrey Seaman, Rooms To Go founder and CEO. “Being a furniture retailer, Rooms To Go has the unique opportunity to help, and we will continue to do so.”
