Hesper Street
Hesper Street – March 7th, 2011: (Sold!)
The house, a 2000 square foot cottage, was in need of some love an care after falling into disrepair as a result of a recent foreclosure. The first step in the process was creating new piers to help level the foundation. Next workers began updating the home by removing old paneling, popcorn ceilings, and antiquated light and bathroom fixtures. The house also received a brand new paint job throughout the house in addition to brand new flooring. The bulk of the work was to update the kitchen by expanding it into the adjoining room and installing new granite counter-tops. After all of this work Hesper looks like a brand new house. Our last work day at this property was on Saturday 1/29/11. After the inspection period the house fittingly sold on the day before Mardi Gras. It was the second Project HOMEwork house sold.
