Two days this week we have a group of students from Vanderbilt University helping us out at our Alvar Street side project as part of their alternative winter break. Prince is on site and has the troops sheetrockin’ up a storm. Let’s hear it for the Commodores! Tulane VISTA Power!

Yesterday we had the Tulane AmeriCorps VISTAs at our South Salcedo rebuild site for their monthly service day. Whodat Jack’s homies tore it up, in the backyard and elsewhere! NOCDC Outstanding Citizen Diplomat

Thanks so much to the New Orleans Citizen Diplomacy Council for honoring YRNO as one of the outstanding Citizen Diplomats of 2013 last week, and congratulations to the other winners: Committee for a Better New Orleans and United Houma Nation. Cabrini Service and Mission Expo
